The Month of Birthdays!

I can't believe I'm about to write only one post about all three of my children's birthdays. I have always made it a goal to give each one of them their own individual birthday to help them feel extra special even though they all have birthdays within 2 weeks of each other. But this year I am so completely birthday-ed out that I am only doing ONE post! Over the past few weeks I have made 2 batches of cupcakes, 3 cakes and we have gone through six 1/2 gallons of ice cream! I never thought I'd be tired of cake but I really am. I hope my kids felt very loved and special. So here is the recap!

Kindly turned 6!
My sweet little Kindly is officially 6! How does time fly so fast? Kindly is so much fun to have around. She keep us laughing and lives up to her name. She is so thoughtful and considerate of everyone's feelings and never lets anyone feel left out. We are so blessed to have her in our family! Kindly still LOVES babies, Dora, dressing up and playing with her brother. She is becoming quite the good reader and loves to learn. In about a month she will start 1st grade!
Kindly wanted a Barbie party, which I find kind of funny since we don't own a single Barbie. But we gave her what she wanted. She also got to celebrate her birthday with 9 of her cousins since so many were visiting. We had her party 2 days early so she could have everyone there.

Here is a portion of the crazy crowd!

I think there was some money in this card!
Kindly got a new comforter for her bed from her Grandma. Everyone decided to snuggle under it during the movie that night. It looks cozy!
On Kindly's actual birthday she wanted pancakes for breakfast and hot cocoa (since she had a sore throat). Her pancake is a letter K.
Then later that morning I braved having 8 six year-olds over for a birthday party. It went well but I was completely exhausted by the end!

Wisdom turned 3!
I can't believe my baby is no longer a baby! He is officially a big boy and completely potty trained! YEA! Wisdom still loves anything with wheels and loves to play outside. He is becoming really coordinated and athletic (his dad is so glad about this). He tries to do everything is big sisters do and says everything his big sisters say (unfortunately). Since visiting Disneyland Wisdom has really gotten in to Mickey Mouse, Jake & the Neverland Pirates and Toy Story.
So this year Wisdom chose a Jake/Pirate birthday party. Here is his cake . . . isn't it a beauty?!
Here are the birthday party guests looking like pirates! Notice the hooks!
The cutest pirate their ever was!

"I got a Buzz Light Year!"
Wisdom's first remote control car! Thanks Grandma Tina!

Passion turned 9!
I am still shocked and amazed that I have a nine year-old! How that happened, I'm just not sure! Passion is 9 going on 13. Seriously, I swear we have entered the teenage years! I thought I had a few more years to prepare for all the crazy emotions and changes going on with her but nope . . . here it is! It is fun though to have such a grown up child who understands grown up humor and who I can have conversations with. Passion and I have really bonded in a new way over the past year and even though I'm a little sad to see her growing up so fast, it has given us new reasons to hang out and talk.
Passion will start 4th grade this year and loves everything about school except for math! This move to Arizona has been a big challenge for her but I think she is finally adjusting and accepting her reality. She has come a long way and has really grown emotionally too. Passion is a great big sister and amazes me with the patience she has with her brother and sister.
It should come as no surprise to anyone who knows Passion very well that she chose a dog-themed party again this year! This girl LOVES animals . . . especially dogs! After Kindly's exhausting friend party, I talked Passion into inviting 3 friends over for pizza, cupcakes and swimming at Jon and Bre's. It was seriously the easiest party I have ever thrown! Here is Passion with her three friends: Kyla, Savanna & Neveah.

Travis and I decided to give Passion a big kid bike for her birthday (since she grew out of her old bike a couple years ago) but we didn't give it to her the way we intended. Travis had the bike sitting in the garage, ready to pull in when the time was right. It was going to be the perfect entry for the big surprise until I (stupidly, I might add) asked Passion to go out to the freezer (in the garage) to get the ice cream. It didn't even dawn on me what I had done until Passion came in with a huge smile on her face saying, "I don't think I was the one you should have sent out the the garage!"
We were so excited though when right after her party Passion jumped on the bike and took off riding. Something we never did achieve when she got a bike at six. Travis was so proud! She is out there riding it everyday . . . even in the 110+ temps, crazy girl!
 Thanks Grandma Tina!
 The fancy dog cake!
Passion set out all of her presents and took this photo. I thought it was so funny that she did this so I had to include it in this post.

Happy Birthday to my three sweet, beautiful children! It was an exhausting but wonderful birthday month! I hope you had a blast! I love you!

I didn't realize the kids' birthdays were all so close, you were busy! All of the cakes were adorable. Seeing Wisdom made me realize Cami is old enough now to actually tell us what she wants her "theme" to be, how exciting. I can't believe your oldest is 9..and your youngest already 3, time flies.
