We were so excited to have my brother and his family of 7 come visit. We had so much fun having them here! I was so grateful for a big house that we all could spread out in. It really worked out perfectly and it was such a nice visit. We tried to plan a lot of activities to keep everyone busy and having fun but it's kind of tough to plan only indoor activities since it was over 100 every day. But we came up with some fun things, I think. The first day we went to the Children's museum. Here are all 10 kids (5 are Ben's, 3 are mine, and 2 are Jonathan's) underneath a gigantic play structure inside the museum.
Harrison, Jackson and Wisdom going through the "car" wash.
Bailee and Passion had a lot of fun in the art room. Here they are painting together.
Taking orders for ice cream cones!
The kids seriously spent an hour in the grocery store. It was nearly deserted so they took advantage of having free reign over the shopping carts and cash registers!
Jackson hanging out in the stock room of the grocery store.
Checking out!
Little London even got in on the fun!
The whole visit to the Children's Museum was so much fun and nice & cool until Wisdom pulled the fire alarm and we were forced to head outside in the heat for 10 minutes!
We spent a ton of time at Jon & Bre's pool at their apartment. This was the only activity you can do outside this time of year!
On the 2nd day they were here we visited a chocolate factory. It was really cool and yummy! Unfortunately there were no Umpa Lumpa's there. :(
Passion holding a gigantic white chocolate bar. In the background is a solid chocolate Santa that weighs 600 pounds!
Kindly really became buddies with London. She loves being a big sister!
We made a stop at Cabela's (aka the zoo). This was the biggest Cabela's I have ever seen. It had four different animal exhibits in addition to the aquarium. The kids seriously thought they had gone to the zoo! And it was all indoor!!!One evening my sister-in-law, Kelli was in town so we went to a huge indoor outlet mall in Tempe to hang out with her. Here are all the kids with her.
A huge thanks goes to Ben and April and their five awesome kids who braved a super long drive from Texas to come see us! We had so much fun with you guys and can't wait for another visit soon . . . hint! hint!
