We had a very nice Christmas together this year (despite a little sickness that visited our home). We spent Christmas at home and although we missed our Vancouver Family, all of my family was in town for the holiday so we got a lot of cousin time in. We went to the annual Young Family Christmas Eve Party. During the talent show portion of the party, my very brave 7 year-old played Jingle Bells for everyone! Then Santa came to visit to hear one last request from our girls.
We opened up our traditional Christmas Eve gift of new PJ's. Poor Travis got left out of this one. But who would take the picture if he didn't?
Here's Passion Christmas morning reading Santa's letter he left for us. If you can believe it, we actually had to wake our kids up this year! Passion was up a few times throughout the night so I think by the time it was actually time to wake up, she was exhausted!
Here's Kindly looking pretty sleepy. She was still getting over the stomach flu so she wasn't exactly full of energy. As soon as she got up, she headed for an empty spot on the couch.
Opening Stockings. It was so fun to see Wisdom get so excited about opening things this year.
Christmas Breakfast
Opening Gifts!
Wisdom was hard to catch this year. As soon as he opened a gift, he ran away to play with it!
Wisdom finally got a hat of his own, just like daddy's!
Since Christmas was on Sunday this year, we headed to church about halfway through opening presents. It was kind of fun to spread Christmas out a little longer. After church we spent another hour opening up our remaining gifts. Here the girls are on their new scooters! It was a very fun Christmas Day! We had a great time spending lots of time with family. And we want to say a BIG THANK YOU to all the gifts mailed our way! We loved them all! Also, THANK YOU to all the family who traveled far to come visit us! We love you!
Merry Christmas!
