The Beach Reunion 2012 ~ Part 1

 We had a blast spending time with family (most that we hadn't seen in over a year) and playing at the beach! We arrived in Vancouver on Thursday evening (June 7th) and left Friday morning for Seaside, Oregon. We rented a huge beach house with everyone. It was a lot of fun to have that much space and be all under one roof. The walk to the beach was really nice and short too. Here's Wisdom and me walking there. It was, of course, cooler so we're all wearing jackets!

 Passion was jumping into the water and having a blast but Wisdom and Kindly were a little more reluctant, especially since the water was so cold. Travis walked them out a little ways so that the water would come up over they're feet. 

 Kindly was not sure she wanted to be in the cold water at all. 

Here she is quite sad, complaining that daddy got her wet and now she's cold!

Wisdom didn't mind too much! 

We also went to a Sandcastle Competition in Cannon Beach. I took a ton of pictures because there were some really cool castles. Here are a few examples:

Another day we flew kites but I didn't get many pictures. Probably because I was busy trying to get those kites into the air. Here's Kindly trying to fly hers. It never did get very high but she was pretty proud of herself shouting, "look mom, I'm doing it!"
