The Beach - Day 1

We had the most amazing time at the beach but it is taking me forever to get it all posted. So . . . I've decided I'm going to break it up into days. We arrived at Seaside, Oregon on Sunday afternoon. We first checked out the beach house (which was SO nice - I'll post pictures of it soon) then headed to the beach to check out the waves! With no plans to get too wet, just our toes in the water. Well, that's not the way it turned out!

First of all Travis trusted Passion and Kindly to walk into the water holding hands. They were only up to their calves but a big wave came in, Passion let go of Kindly's hand and Kindly lost her balance. The end result, Kindly's soaked (and cold) and Passion thinks it's a grand idea to also get soaked! And Travis had to chaperone.

Wisdom got a little taste of the sand--literally! He kind of glared at it for a few minutes, then tasted it, then decided it was pretty fun!

Wisdom also really enjoyed the water although in the photo below he doesn't look thrilled.

This is just across the street from our beach house. The beach is just 2 blocks up the street.

Once you get to the end of the street you reach the promenade. Here is the view from the prom.
