Well I decided I should probably update all my blog followers on our life. It has been a crazy, fun summer and I can't believe it's almost over! Unfortunately Passion will head back to school on Monday. It's really pretty sad. But before then, here's a little bit about what's been going on around here . . .
Wisdom is smiling! Well he's been smiling for about a month now but not on demand so it has been almost impossible to get a photo of him. I was finally able to get this video of him about a week ago. I love those first smiles!
Wisdom also went to his 2 month appointment where he weighed in at 10 lbs., 10 oz. (25%) and is now 22 inches long (22%). He's doing well and sleeping better on most nights. He has had a couple of colds and seems to always be congested at night but he's hanging right in there.
For the past few years Passion has made wishes on every birthday candle, every wishing star in the sky and every time she blew a dandelion. And each time the wish has been the same, "I wish I could have a dog of my own." Well finally Passion's wish has come true. Meet Charlie, the newest member of our family.

He is an 8 month old miniature schnauzer and originally belonged to my Grandpa who decided he was too old for a dog and offered him to us! Travis and I were hesitant about entering the dog owner world but so far it has been a successful transition and the girls are thrilled! When I took these pics of the dog, Kindly was napping so I only have pictures of Charlie with Passion.
Passion came inside one afternoon, grabbed a stack of Clifford books and told me she was going to read to Charlie. I followed her out a few minutes later with my camera and this is what I found . . .

Travis took a trip for work to Oaklahoma last month. The girls were so excited to see him come home. Here they are waiting for Travis's plane to land.
We hope you've had a fabulous Summer! We are going to miss those lazy summer days!

Madison had mentioned that, Passion told her at Church that you had gotten a dog. I was skeptical, and maybe thought Madison misunderstood Passion! I was wrong and ate my words just now! You are very brave! Good luck with that!!
Oh my goodness, could Wisdom get any cuter? We love the pictures of Passion with the dog! congrats on that, and that's it working out so well :) Come check out the pictures we posted of you guys on our blog! :)
