Dance, dance, dance, dance!

Well, I am finally finishing a post I started a while back. Sorry but it has been a little bit of a crazy month. Travis has been studying like mad for the GRE so he can begin applying to graduate schools to get his PhD. He just took the test today and got an average score. He was hoping for a bit higher but IT'S DONE! Yea! We get to have Travis back!
As for me and the girls, we have just been adjusting to school and a routine. Although it is nice to have a set routine . . . I miss those days of sleeping in ('til 7:30) and having no set plans. But those days are gone. Now I'm up at 6:30, getting myself ready. Next I wake up Passion at 7:15, get her ready. Wake up Kindly and run Travis to work at 7:45 (we are now working with one car, we sold the blazer in August), once back home we eat breakfast then get Passion out the door to school at 8:35. Get Kindly and preschool all ready before the kids arrive at 9:30. Some mornings are a bit crazy but it all seems to work out in the end. It will be especially nice when we get a second vehicle but until the right one and the right price come along we'll just wait!
Passion has been loving school. The first couple of weeks were pretty unchallenging for her but now they have started reading units and more challenging worksheets and she is really starting to love it. She brings home a book once a week and has to read it to us 3 times before she takes it back to school for a prize.
Passion has also started dance. She has been doing gymnastics for a little over a year and since last May, has been begging me to try out ballet. We found a class that teaches ballet, tap, and jazz. Passion is really enjoying it although my pocketbook is still hurting! It's a tad more expensive than gymnastics (note the sarcasm) and the shoe prices are ridiculous. Oh the things you do for your kids! But she is loving it (she better be!) and learning a lot. Here she is all decked out in ballet shoes and all. She has her first recital on December 4th.
