Well we celebrated Travis' birthday this past Thursday. I really attempted to do something out of the ordinary since it was his 30th but he made it nearly impossible by needing to be out of town and a few other things that I won't go into. I don't think he planned certain things on purpose but I'll never be sure. So . . . he didn't get a big surprise party and I didn't even get to really embarrass him at work. But we did have a fun little family party at our house. Photos from the party are above.
For those of you that know Travis well, you know he doesn't worry about things like getting old but this past week he as been acting really funny. He's been very concerned about a wrinkle he found that doesn't disappear when he stops smiling and he's started looking for gray hairs. It's almost as if he's having a mid-life crisis. He's ready to go back to school and get his PhD so he can really be what he wanted to be when he grew up. I guess he thinks he's grown up now! He's been talking about going back to school since we last finished school but now it's starting to get more serious, so . . . I guess we'll see what happens. Well anyway, we had a lot of fun celebrating and we hope you enjoy the photos!
