Passion's 10th Birthday!

I cannot believe I have a ten year old! Where did the last ten years go? I guess time flies when you're having fun! Passion has become such a bright, beautiful preteen and we love her to pieces even when she's a little temperamental and moody. : )

Passion wanted to start out her birthday with stuffed french toast! Mmmmm! Then we headed to a fun bounce house place called Pump it Up. She invited her friend Jaiden to come with her and they had a blast running around nonstop for 2 hours!

Kindly and Wisdom also enjoyed joining in on the fun!

Here is Passion opening her presents from her Grandma Hughes on Facetime. So cool to have grandparents be a part of our lives even when we live so far apart.

Next we headed to Red Robin to cash in on the kids' free birthday meals there. Passion got a special birthday song and then all three kids got Sundaes!

Back at home Passion opened lots of gifts. These below are from Grandma Tina & Grandpa Damon. They know what Passion loves!

In theme, Passion got a new scooter that sparks. Travis picked it out and I was skeptical but it has been a huge hit and is actually pretty cool.

This is the first year that Passion didn't want a fancy themed birthday party. She just wanted owls on her plates and napkins and an ice cream cake. Easy for me!

Passion still LOVES to read! She is also becoming quite the pianist. She loves volleyball, swimming, animals of all kids but especially dogs. She has done her research on dogs and could tell you all about nearly every breed. Passion is very friendly and makes friends easily. She is going to start her last and final year of elementary school (her mom is already mourning her entrance into middle school).

Happy Birthday to my beautiful, smart, talented, helpful, mature, amazing ten year old! We love you more than we could have imagined! Please don't keep growing up so fast . . . we're not sure we're ready for a teenager yet!
