I never would have imagined that having three of my kids' birthdays in one month could be so exhausting. I haven't even blogged about any of them yet because I spent my time in between their birthdays, just recuperating. We made it through the birthday month though . . . I've recuperated and I now I'm ready to blog!
We did have a fun month of birthdays. I do really love celebrating with my kids and planning all the activities and gifts and treats. It's a lot of work but it's worth it to see them so happy and excited. Kindly decided she wanted a Doc McStuffin's birthday. She was a little afraid that someone would think that Doc McStuffins was too baby-ish. She really loves Doc though and so in the end she chose what she loves and decided it didn't matter what anyone else thought.
Kindly got a Ziggle for her birthday. I decided we weren't buying any inside toys this year but Kindly already had a bike and a scooter so we had to get more creative. The Ziggle turned out to be a hit!
On Kindly's actual birthday she woke up and had birthday crapes and opened up her remaining gifts. Then we grabbed lunch (she chose Subway) and headed to a new park with a splash pad.
Kindly has grown up so much over the last year. Not just physically but emotionally too. She grew 2 inches and is becoming an excellent reader. She is also acting so much more grown up and several times she has let us know that she is now "too old" for certain things any more. Which is kind of sad to see her growing up so much but also exciting for all the fun times ahead.
Kindly loves her baby sister, swimming, playing with Wisdom, reading, Doc McStuffins, the movie Frozen, Face-timing with Alli and talking on the phone to anyone and everyone! She will start 2nd grade this fall (well August around here) and is growing up too fast! One of the things I love the most about Kindly is how she always wants everyone to feel loved and included. I swear she has a radar for anyone feeling sad and immediately reaches out to that person and helps them feel loved. I love how much Kindly cares about everyone's feelings. Happy Birthday Kindly! We love you!
