Bravery was blessed on April 13th in our ward here in Arizona. Travis gave her a beautiful blessing and we had my aunt and uncle there (so we had some family!). We also had our bishop, and a hand full of other good friends we've made here, stand in. Bravery did really well until the very end of the blessing. She's a pacifier baby but still doesn't keep it in very well so I knew we'd have a problem if it popped out. I asked Travis what he would do if she started to cry (since she's been our fussier baby) and he said that he'd just end the blessing. So that's exactly what he did! It was a little abrupt but I think he was also pretty worried about Wisdom and getting him back home. Wisdom had been sick with the stomach flu on Saturday but was doing much better until we were all ready to go Sunday morning and it was about 20 minutes before were going to leave. He was a trooper though and made it to church long enough for Travis to bless Bravery before he took Wisdom back home!
A lot of people asked if I made Bravery's dress. Ummm . . . no. I'm not that talented! It was given to my mom when my younger sister was born. Then when I was pregnant with Wisdom my mom was going through baby stuff she had kept and gave me a bunch of girl stuff. Well then Wisdom turned out to be a boy so I hadn't gotten to use this cute little dress yet. I was very excited for Bravery to wear it and have something of her own. Passion and Kindly were both blessed in different dresses so they each get to have their own. I bought some tights, a headband and shoes to complete her outfit and I think she turned out pretty cute!
I opted for individual shots of the kids with Bravery rather than try for a group shot.
I turned 32 the same weekend as Bravery's blessing. I really can't believe I'm that old! Travis and the kids spoiled me with gifts. Below is the toilet paper crown Wisdom created especially for me! I also received a calphalon skillet from Travis, rainbow loom bracelets from Passion, a journal & piggy bank money from Kindly (I returned the money but it was very sweet), a necklace & a canvas print of our family from my in-laws and an ipad from my parents. I was spoiled!!!
I also got strawberry cheesecake for dessert . . . okay I made it for myself! Travis usually makes it every year but he was busy giving me a sparkling clean house for my birthday and lets be honest . . . I make it better anyway!
It was a wonderful birthday! I just can't believe I'm such a grown up with four kids! Time sure is flying.

What a great birthday weekend! Love how sweet your kids are--both with Bravery and their presents to you :) Bravery is such a little doll in these pictures--and I'm so in love with the chevron blanket behind her!
