Halloween!

The kids had fun dressing up for Halloween this year! Kindly was a fairy, Passion was Mavis from Hotel Transylvania and Wisdom was a superhero one night and a fire fighter the other. I had him all dressed and ready to go as the fire fighter he had been talking about for weeks. We were about ready to leave for our Ward's trunk or treating party when I look over and notice him stripping off his entire costume. When I inquired what was going on he said, "I don't want to be a fire fighter, it itches, I want to be a super hero." Then he ran and found his Batman mask and cape that his Grandma made him for Christmas last year. Then whenever anyone asked him if he was Batman, he said, "No I'm a super hero!"

Not sure if you can tell from the picture but Kindly was very glittery and proud of it!

Here are our carved pumpkins this year. Betcha can't guess who's is who's?
Travis worked on Wisdom's. I did Kindly's and Passion did hers on her own for the first time this year. I was  pretty impressed.
Only in Arizona can you carve pumpkins at the end of October and still be hanging out in shorts and t-shirts. Also, pumpkins here only last about 2 days (or so we've learned). After 4 days they are completely black inside and total mush.

On Halloween the kids wanted a spooky meal for dinner. I wasn't feeling very creative and was trying to conserve all my energy to walk around the neighborhood with them so we just made jack-o-lantern pizzas. They thought it was cool.

Here are the trick-or-treaters all ready to go. Wisdom is even a fire fighter this time! We took Charlie with us around one block since he had a Halloween shirt and all. We barely made it around the block. Just a little too exciting for a dog!

My little fire fighter!

Cute! I think the pizza idea was such a great idea! I bet they'll ask to do it again next year :)
