DISNEYLAND -- Day 2

Our second day we headed to California Adventure. We had a lot of fun but it wasn't quite as magical as Disneyland. We did enjoy our time there and especially enjoyed California Soarin', The Toys Story ride, and the Little Mermaid ride. Kindly and I rode California Soarin' together and it was a lot of fun. They strap you in and lift you up into the air in front of a massive screen playing landscapes from around California. It seriously felt like we were flying. When the ride first started I grabbed Kindly's hand and asked her if she was okay because I thought she'd be pretty freaked out. Instead she looks at me with wide eyes and asks, "How is this happening?"
Wisdom LOVED getting to meet Mater and Lightning McQueen in Cars Land. And we ate the best homemade sourdough bread bowls and sandwiches I think I've ever had in Pacific Wharf. They were so yummy!

Waiting to see Mater

The kids loved to hang on all the bars and railings while we waited in line. They spent a lot of the day doing this.

The kids loved the little Mermaid ride. I think we rode it 3 times.

Here are the girls waiting to go into the 3D Toy Story ride. It was an awesome ride. They loved it!

The kids loved hanging out and climbing around the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail where they earned their Wilderness Explorer badge and got to meet characters from the movie Up.

This is where we ate our amazing dinner in Pacific Wharf. It was a beautiful day!
Wisdom or Mickey?
This is outside one of the entrances to Cars Land. It was pretty amazing the detail they put into it.

The Monsters Inc. ride was a lot of fun too and I was amazed at all the detail. It looked just like the movie.

California Adventure was definitely worth the visit but we were very excited to spend the next day at Disneyland! Check back for Day 3 soon!
