We had a really fun Halloween! We had Passion's School Harvest Carnival the Friday before. The kids got to where their costumes, play carnival games and eat fun food. They had a lot of fun! And I appreciated that it was well organized!
Then on Saturday we went to my grandparents home (both in their 80's) and had fun with family eating soup and rolls, riding on hayrides and trunk or treating. We skipped out on our Ward's trunk or treating this year and I think it was a good trade off. The kids really enjoyed the hayrides.
Then we did some regular, old trick or treating Monday night. But this year Travis stayed home to hand out candy while I took the kids around. After hearing "my feet are tired" and "I'm cold" about twenty times, I was ready to be done! We walked our neighborhood for about an hour and the kids buckets were overflowing. We've never stayed home and handed out candy before but it turns out that a lot of kids make it to our side of the neighborhood. Travis enjoyed staying home out of the cold wind and greeting trick or treaters. Next year I think I'll trade him responsibilities.
Over all we had a great Halloween! And I think we had a pretty cute cowgirl, lion and dragon, what do you think?!?!

Halloween (finally!)
The Hayride
Pumpkin Carving
Here's where Wisdom got to hang out for the entire pumpkin carving time.
Kindly's pumpkin is the spider, Passion's is a cat, Wisdom's is a spooky face.
Playing with green goop! This ended up being a really fun activity for the girls. Just a little cornstarch, water and food coloring.
Halloween night. Our little dragon, cowgirl & lion.
My cute girls!
The cutest lion ever!
The dragon trying to get away. This is one of about seven shots and this is the only one I actually got of his face. He kept running away!
Our cute little cowgirl. She was frustrated to have to wear a coat but the wind picked up Halloween evening and it was cold!
The girls laid out all their candy to "trade" and Wisdom just plopped down on his belly and hung out there with the girls.
Candy sorting.

So fun! I seriously can't wait to have kids old enough to do all this stuff, I get so excited about Halloween very year, and it's never quite as exciting without kiddie around! Loved how cute they are in their outfits!! I thought passion looked even more like a cowgirl in her coat because cowgirls wear dusters :) looks like they got quite a bit of loot--even full size candy bars!
Too cute! Spencer was a dragon, just like Wisdom... dontcha love Old Navy! :) The Harvest Carnival sounds like lots of fun. All of it does. Makes me miss you guys -- and Caldwell. sigh.
