We have a 3-Year-Old!

Kindly turned 3 yesterday and we had a lot of fun celebrating with her. On Thursday we went to the zoo. The girls and their cousins (also all girls) had a blast playing and seeing all the animals. Then we had a picnic lunch afterwards. It was a lot of fun!

Then yesterday we woke up and Kindly chose Lucky Charms for her birthday breakfast (easy for me!) and then chicken nuggets & mac 'n' cheese for lunch (easy again). Then for dinner she really wanted to go to McDonalds. So we went. The girls had a blast playing on the toys and slides afterwards.

Then we headed back to our house for a birthday party. My parents and some cousins also came. Kindly was "so essited" as she told me several times. We had a Dora party with a pink and purple cake and purple ice cream. Kindly had a blast getting all the attention and opening gifts. She got a Leapfrog birthday cake, a stroller, littlest pet shop toys, and lots of clothes & baby stuff from Grandma & Grandpa Hughes. She had a blast getting all the attention and opening gifts.

A few days before her birthday Grandma Tina's birthday package arrived and Kindly could hardly wait to open it so we let her open one gift a day until her birthday. The first day she got a new dress (see below). The second day was a new book. And the third day was a Giraffe-a-laugh game that has been a huge hit. Thanks Grandma Tina!!!
