Passion turned 6!!!

Well I am a little behind on my blogging. Passion turned 6 a few days ago and I still haven't posted about Wisdom's delivery but I will get it on here soon - I promise!

Passion turned 6 this past Thursday. I can't believe she is that old and will be a first grader this Fall! She had a few extra requests this year. The first was breakfast in bed! She is our early riser though and since Travis and I are sleep deprived and staying in bed as long as possible lately, Passion had to get back in bed in order to eat her breakfast there but I think she thought it was pretty cool anyway!

Passion also requested a "flower" party. Here she is with her cake (not my best work but, again, due to lack of sleep I was just glad it actually looked a little bit like a flower!).

For lunch Passion wanted Mac 'n' Cheese. Then for dinner she picked BBQ chicken sandwiches, mashed potatoes and fruit salad. We had a little party with my parents on the night of her birthday. Here she is opening presents. She got a furreal pet squirrel and clothes from Grandma Tina & Grandpa Damon, clothes and Trio blocks from Grandma & Grandpa Hughes, and lots of stuff for her bike from Mom & Dad.

Here she is with her bike all decked out with a new basket & bell. Notice the helmet, gloves, elbow pads and knee pads? Now maybe she'll try riding without her training wheels . . . we'll see.

Notice the water bottle in Passion's new basket. Kindly had to have one in her trike basket too!

Passion also really wanted a pair of goggles. Here is Kindly showing us how they work! Hilarious!

Passion's last request was a "friend" party. I actually had the party scheduled for a week before her birthday thinking that I was safe to have it at 37 weeks pregnant. But since Wisdom made his big entrance 3 days before the party it had to be postponed a week. It all turned out well though and I think the girls had a blast.
