Passion's Dance Recital

Passion had her dance recital this past Saturday night. She had a lot of fun getting all dressed up! We curled her hair for almost an hour (she was very patient) and the end result not only turned out great but it also stayed in ALL night!!! I was amazed!

She also got to wear some make-up which she has been looking forward to all month. We put glitter all over her so she really sparkled (hence all the shininess in the picture below). Here she is with a few girls from her class. They are all in their ballet dance costumes. The name of the song they danced to was "Sammi made the pants too long" which is why they are wearing super long pants! Passion wasn't the only one in pink by the way, she just happened to pose with only girls in the blue outfits. And notice her silly face . . . she was pretty wound up waiting to go on stage.

The day before the recital Passion politely asked if we could maybe, if it wasn't too much trouble, get her a red or pink rose because ALL the girls get roses after the recital. Well . . . we caved and she was in heaven! When Travis gave it to her, she just lit up!

I had to break her tap dance into 3 separate movies in order to get them to load onto my blog but here they are! The name of the song was "Codfish Ball" and they girls are supposed to be jellyfish.

We were very proud of Passion who was a little nervous to be in front of such a big crowd but she did great! She also graduates from Kindergarten this Thursday. Check back soon for pictures from her graduation.
