HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY!!!

We have had a very fun St. Patty's day and we hope you have too! Our celebrations started yesterday at our preschool "green" party. Kindly had a blast dressing up in all green. Then that evening we decorated our "leprechaun box" and set a trap for a leprechaun. The trap was made from a box of watercolors that we stuck pennies to in order to lure the leprechaun into our box where he would hopefully be stuck until morning. Unfortunately though we only found stickers, leprechaun gold and a tiny note in the box in the morning. He even took our pennies, if you can believe it! And, the leprechaun took a little dip into the paint (see picture below). After eating green pancakes and green eggs the girls were convinced that the leprechaun was in our backyard. After a thorough search though, I think we will just have to try and catch another leprechaun next year. Passion also dressed up in green for school and got everyone's attention!

You guys were so close to catch the leprechaun. If only the paint container was rigged to trap him when he placed his feet in the paint, then you would have had him...and all the gold you could ever want!
