We attended the annual Hughes Family Christmas Party last night and the girls had a blast! After eating a delicious meal, the kids earned fun prizes doing the bean bag toss and cake walk. Then Santa came! Passion was so excited. All day she had been worrying about what she was going to tell Santa she wanted. Then about ten minutes before we were about leave for the party she got a panicked look on her face and said, "mom, I never decided what I'm going to tell Santa!" So we found her list that hadn't been mailed to the North Pole yet and she took that to share with Santa and all was well. The girls also got to decorate cookies. It was a very fun night!
Earlier in the day, after Passion had gotten home from school she told me a very funny story. She said that two girls in her class were arguing at recess and she wanted them to stop so she said, "guys, I'm going to see Santa tonight and I can either tell him you have been nice or that you have been naughty. After that, they didn't fight anymore!"
This is about as close as Kindly would get to Santa. At least she waved at him!
And here she is pretty pleased with her goodie bag!
Passion's Cookie . . . mmmmm!
